The Story of Ed and Sarah, aka Rebel Crumb
Established in 2020, Rebel Crumb is a family run cake shop in the heart of Alliston, Ontario. Ed Dillon and Sarah Macey, baker and cake designer respectively, our goal is to make you something delicious and unique the next time you celebrate one of life's milestones, the fact that it is the weekend, or you just want something delicious and homemade.

Ed Dillon, aka Darth Baker I've had a career in the food service industry, a career with The Keg Steakhouse and while driving home one day just before covid Sarah asked me if I wanted to make a cake for a co worker.

The rest (as they say) is history! Rebel Crumb was born on that fateful day. A few boxes of business cards, some old school marketing and starting in the Farmer's Market in both Cookstown and Alliston. Over the summer of 2020 we grew our cake business to the point where Sarah joined us full time!
Sarah Macey is simply amazing! I've seen her talents blossom and grow with each cake that she makes. With over 5000 cakes decorated, she knows how to turn my deliciousness into a work of art!

The preferred medium is buttercream frosting, using fondant and edible images as accent pieces to her decoration. She has almost done it all from gender reveal to wedding cakes, to Sponge Bob and beyond.
